Visit to Pradhanmantri Sangharalya and Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial (26- July- 2025)

KAMKUS COLLEGE OF LAW has organized a one-day Visit to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya and Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial. Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is a public museum dedicated to commemorating every prime minister of India since Independence, showcasing their contributions to India's development. The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is a tribute by our nation to the leaders of India who rebuilt India after Independence. The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, located in Teen Murti Marg, New Delhi, is a part of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library. On the other hand, Ambedkar museums and memorials are dedicated to preserving and showcasing the life, work, and legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a key figure in India's social reform movement and the principal architect of the Indian Constitution.

The Event was organized on 26th July, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 37 students of B.A. LL.B. IIIrd, Vth, VIIth and IX Sem along with four faculty members Mr. Kripal Sigh, Mr. Prakhar Dwivedi, Dr. Neelima Agarwal and Ms. Abha Tyagi visited both the places.

The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya has a lot of Special Features like, Picture with PM, Handwriting Robot, Shatabdi Sankalp, Levitating Emblem and Kinetic Wings, Unity Wall, Sketch App, Advanced Audio Guide. On the other hand, The Ambedkar Museum, part of the Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial in Delhi, the memorial has been designed to look like a constitution in the form of a book and is spread in nearly 2 acres. This building is an amalgamation of modern and Buddhist architecture. Musical fountains, a replica of the Ashoka pillar at Sarnath and a 12-foot-high bronze statue are some of the highlights of this complex. The Memorial also has a meditation hall with a Marble statue of Mahatma Buddha. The stone used is in the area has been imported from Vietnam. The memorial also features a variety of exhibits and architectural elements designed to showcase the life, work, and ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Key features include a grand statue of Ambedkar, museum galleries with personal artifacts and documents, and landscaped gardens with inscriptions and quotes. The museum also utilizes technology, such as projection mapping and digital flipbooks, to bring Ambedkar's story to life and make his writings accessible.

Visit to Pradhanmantri Sangharalya and Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial had a significant impact on students. It sparked the curiosity and interest in political history of our country. Students gained hands-on learning experience through interactive exhibits. The visit to Sangrahalaya inspires the students about how our Prime Ministers navigated the nation through various challenges and ensured the all-round progress of the country. Within this story is a message for the younger generation: there are greater horizons to conquer as we transform India into New India.

The students also came to know about Dr. Ambedkar's vision for a just and equitable society and his teachings on equality and social justice. The visit developed among the students a sense of social responsibility and civic duty to build an inclusive society. The visit inspired critical thinking and creativity in young minds, it helped students develop empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives.
